Derek is by the 2010 Sire rating winner Parvadean Darius, and was bought for his breeding, to use on the smaller Synod and Parvadean bred mares. Darius being by one of the last Synod Replay siblings Parvadean Replay and out of the Supreme Show mare Parvadean Delight by Synod Replay.
